Abstract: The fountain phenomena of a Mohr pipette with partially filled hot water through experiment are investigated. We design an improvement of device to avoid people throw shake Mohr pipette, forming a continuous water column,so the theoretical deduction and numerical calculation of fountains’jetting height are combined with Van der Walls equation and Bernoulli equation. We use the polynomial method to research a variety of experimental parameters and to avoid human factor due to heat transfer temperature is not easy to measure. We get the experimental results: the injection height of the hot water fountain is proportional to the temperature, the smaller the diameter of the nozzle is,the higher injection height of the hot water fountain when the absorbent amount is about 30% ~ 45% of pipette.
